Fantasy baseball 2010

The regular season is over and chrissie has won the league. I will buy myself a box of chocolates. Now on to the playoffs.

I don't log in here nearly enough. I think back on the days of tek-tips; we all became pretty good friends and I do miss those times. It's really a shame that those people ruined such a great thing, but I suppose in ways it brought a lot of you closer together.

Anyway, I logged in today to wish Chrissie good luck in the finals.

Maybe one of these years I'll make it to your annual get-together.

I wish you good luck too, and I'm sure you will be graceful in your loss ;-).

BTW I think I will make it livedraft too next year. Now that I tried these livedrafts I don't wanna go back.

Haha... you're learning!

The funny thing is, now that I'm so used to live drafts, I want to try a live auction draft. I hear once you do one of those, you never want to do a live snake draft again...

Maybe in a couple of years we'll finagle the live auction draft.

(I know those links are ESPN and we use Yahoo!, but the same concepts apply.)

I guess an auction draft means everyone has to be present which is going to be though to set up. The snake draft just autodrafts if you don't pick anyone within 30 seconds. Which is more user friendly for the bunch we got here ;-)

Very true. Just something to think about in the coming seasons. We could always Skype people in for the auction. This would prevent us from throwing things at each other in person, but we could still throw things at the webcam...

If we do them at the summit we already have things to throw with.

I did both a live draft and an auction draft this year. Both were ok but I preferred the live draft because that one was much faster (~30 minutes vs. 2+ hours). Maybe an auction draft is ok live but online, it's just a PITA.
