I'm running the tool on a Sql 2008R2 database and get the error attached.
I'm assuming that it's because I only have access to the database & not the server.

This SQLCop check should be looking for the appropriate permissions prior to running the check. Ideally, SQLCop would return something like, "You do not have the appropriate server privileges for this check."
